Position: Position: Junior Safety Officer

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in Safety Operations within the Oil and Gas industry preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing and monitoring safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the preparation of risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Maintain safety records and reports for ongoing projects.
• Provide safety training and awareness to site personnel.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety guidelines, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in safety operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards (OSHA, OHSAS, ISO 45001, etc.).
• Strong observation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in safety equipment and tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
